Learn more about our holistic health program. Through Vera Whole Health’s Health and Wellness Coach Training and Education Program, Courtney has undergone the approved trainings to sit for the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) examination. This specific training leads the industry in standards as the American Medical Association has worked in concert to approve all NBHWC exams.
Vera health coaches are embedded members of the care team and guide patients through each stage of change to take ownership of their own health. They help members reach their health goals through: Behavior change and the Transtheoretical Model. Humans are natural creatures of habit. Behavior change takes time, patience, and practice. It’s also highly individualized: the approach that works for one person may not work for another. The Transtheoretical Model of Change (TTM) acknowledges these challenges, and offers a framework for success.
Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching, is an integrative form of wellness coaching that incorporates positive, lifestyle changes (lifestyle, habits, nutrition, mental fitness) to create and enhance optimum health and wellness. Courtney’s approach uses empathic listening, an organized coaching plan, and ongoing coaching for accountability.
Making changes can be difficult, but studies have shown using a holistic health and wellness coach for guidance, support, and accountability increases success.
